The goal of the game, which takes place before the events of the film, is to bring down a South American drug baron known as Sacrenegra, whom police are unable to connect to his activities. As the player progresses through the stages as Crockett or Tubbs, they become more immersed in the drug trade and closer to bringing Sacrenegra down.
